Curriculum Matrix (K - 12)
A login is required to use the Curriculum Matrix. The Matrix correlates lessons, resources and assessments to the state standards. As a member of a Local Learning Community, teachers may submit their own lessons to display on their district Matrix.

Research-based Education (K - 12)
A current trend in Education is to focus on research-based, reform strategies. Sharing Success is an extensive database of over 4,000 best practices that have been validated as improving student achievement.

Education World's Lesson Planning Center (K - 12)
Education World has stockpiled an archive of teacher-submitted lesson plans and links to other popular Internet lesson plan banks. When you are looking for new curriculum, this is an excellent place to start.

Educator's Reference Desk (K - 12)
The Educator's Reference Desk has compiled lesson plans, special projects, and guides to other educational resources.

Columbia Education Center's Lesson Plans (K - 12)
This searchable lesson plan database is categorized by subject matter and grade level. All of the lesson plans available here were created by teachers for use in their own classrooms.

Connections+ (K - 12)
The Mid-continent Research for Education and Learning (McREL) has compiled educator resources, standards information, and program descriptions all in one handy place. Content on this site includes "hot links by subject," a database of curriculum materials by educational publishers, links to "hot topics" in education, and more.

Discovery Channel School's Lesson Plans (K - 12)
Separate lesson plan databases for grades K-6 and 7-12 help teachers quickly find fresh ideas. Also try searching the complete list by subject matter, such as ancient history, the human body, and space science.

EDSITEment (K - 12)
Sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities, EDSITEment is filled with lesson plans. Their learning guides provide cross-curricular activities focusing on literature, history, foreign languages, and art.

Gateway to Educational Materials (K - 12)
The U.S. Department of Education's National Library of Education sponsors this Internet lesson plan and curriculum database, which is searchable by subject matter or keyword. This is a special project of the ERIC Clearinghouse on Information and Technology.

MiddleWeb (6 - 8)
Here's the ultimate resource for anyone interested in middle school reform. MiddleWeb searches the Internet for articles, news stories, and Web sites that focus on all aspects of middle school education, from curriculum to parents to professional development.

PBS TeacherSource (K - 12)
Some of television's finest programs are on PBS. Now the network brings teachers searchable, standards-based lesson plans, tips for teaching with technology, book and Web site recommendations, and a programming schedule categorized by academic subject.

TeachersFirst (K - 12)
Elementary, middle, and high school teachers will all find a selection of recommended Web links and lesson plans at TeachersFirst. There's also information on school technology, professional development, idea exchanges, and more.

ARTS LESSONS: ArtsEdge (K - 12)
With ArtsEdge, the Kennedy Center picks up where your school's art program ends. Teach your students about dance, film, music, theater, foreign language, and the visual arts with standards-based lesson plans and recommended links. Showcase your students' work online!

ECONOMICS LESSONS: EconEdLink (K-12)
Economics America brings you EconEdLink, which is designed to teach economics through real-world examples. In addition to lesson plans, sites, and publications, you'll find suggested news stories to use in class and tips for teaching economics to all grades.

MATHEMATICS LESSONS: Illuminations ( K - 12)
Sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Through lesson plans organized by grade level, Illuminations demonstrates major math principles that conform to the national math standards.

SCIENCE LESSONS: Science NetLinks (K - 12)
The American Association for the Advancement of Science created Science NetLinks to bring you lesson plans and recommended links that correspond to twelve major science and math curriculum benchmarks. Check out the latest news in science education.

SOCIAL STUDIES LESSONS: Xpeditions (K - 12)
